Spirit of Life Church, Tucson is a committed church with a huge vision and a desire to serve her
community. SOLC’s vision -– to bring the love of God to a lost and dying world by the leading of the Holy
Spirit, and guided by the whole text of Scripture through Bible study and prayer –- will be accomplished by:

  •  Caring for those who need salvation

  •  Ministering to the young

  •  Healing the broken and broken-hearted

  •  Nourishing those who know God, but need fellowship and words of encouragement, and

  •  Seeking and helping people find God’s offer of love, freedom, and forgiveness through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Spirit of Life Church was born for such a time as this --- a time when an entire generation flounders for
lack of teaching and prayer. This church has been tucked away, so to speak, for this time, so healing can
happen, mission can happen, and teaching can happen. SOLC is a teaching church, and the Word of God
will go forth from this church to the surrounding communities.

Although Spirit of Life Church is small, we have a big heart. We engage. We listen. We pray. God’s
presence in this church is palpable, and we want you to experience it through prayer, Bible study, and
fellowship with others. Worshiping in a small church is about caring for others, sharing the love of
Jesus, living in the peace and joy of God, and learning to love others –- young and old –- in an atmosphere
of acceptance and love.

We look forward to meeting you soon
We care about you, your family, and your community, and we are excited to see how God works in and for you

through His encouraging word and the love of Christ.

What We Believe

  • We believe the Bible is God's word to us and the gospel is the power of God for the salvation of all. (2 Timothy 3:16, 17).

  • We believe the Scriptures are a revelation of God and his will for humanity.

  • We believe in One God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 13:14).

  • We believe in God the Father, creator of all things seen and unseen, who supplies all our needs. (Ephesians 1:3-7).

  • We believe that humanity has fallen into sin (Romans 3:23, 5:12), and our only way to salvation is through the life, death, and resurrection of God's Son, Jesus Christ, who redeemed us from sin and delivered us for eternal life. (Ephesians 1:7, John 3:16).

  • We believe in the Holy Spirit who calls us to repentance, faith, obedience, joy, peace and love; who reveals God's word and his will; who empowers us with true spiritual gifts; and who is the author and sustainer of the church. (John 6:63; Acts 2:4, 17; Romans 5:5, 7:6; 1 Corinthians 12:4-13; Galatians 5:22).

  • We believe in divine healing and confirm that all of the spiritual gifts operate in the church today. (James 5:14-16)

  • We believe in Christ’s Second Coming and the resurrection of believers to eternal life and of unbelievers to eternal punishment. (John 14:3; 2 Peter 2:4-6; Matthew 25:46; John 6:40).

  • We believe in two sacraments, Baptism and Holy Communion, given to us by Jesus Christ as a means of grace. (Matthew 26:26-28; Acts 2:38; 1 Corinthians 11:27; Matthew 28:19).
